Grade 2 Home

Greetings Second Grade Families!

We hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy during this extended school closure due to COVID-19.

We are thinking of you during this challenging time and hope our second graders are persevering and doing their part to help their families.

We encourage you to use the online resources and the packets that have been provided. These resources provide lessons and activities that cover Reading, Writing, Mathematics, Social Studies and STEM- Science.

Teachers have been busy meeting and planning how to best support our families at this time.  Since Monday, May 4th, we have been using the "Extended Learning" tab on the right side of this page to update lessons and videos directly from your teachers.

We have had 5 live Webex meetings offered: Read Aloud with Mrs. Meyer, STEM and Garden Tour with Ms. Slaton, Grade 2 Share Your Pet Day, a Virtual Tour of The Mighty Mo Battleship and Staying Healthy with GO NOODLE Fun Exercises! Don't miss our  ALOHA & FAREWELL live Webex on Tuesday, May 26th at 9 am. Our focus will be sharing our best awesome moments in Grade 2. Please join us and share your best moment with your friends and teachers.
