                                                                                   October 25, 2020

Greetings Families,

This coming week is going to be quite a busy one. This is what is on the agenda:

Report cards will be available for pick up from Monday, October 26 through Wednesday, October 28 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Included in the envelope with the report card will be the Federal Survey and a Fire Prevention Activity book. Please help us out by completing the survey and returning it to the school. Our school will benefit from the surveys received.

October is Fire Prevention month and a good time to review safety plans and fire escapes with the whole family. Remember to check your smoke alarms too!

Also, beginning on Monday the 26th, new material will be ready for pick up (unless other arrangements were made with your teacher). Materials include things that will be needed for online lessons in the classroom and from the Resource teachers for second quarter. Bags labeled with your child's name will be available in boxes at the front of the school. Look for the Grade Level and your child's Teacher's name on the boxes. This will be a Self-Serve Pickup at the front loop. There will be no parking available in the front loop of the school. You will need to park on Kama'aha Loop (off campus). Thank you for your cooperation and ongoing support as we continue to best plan on how to work through this current situation.

Finally, as we continue to adjust to Co-Vid and distance learning, we also have new beginnings... Ms. Pascual will be heading our Second Grade Digital Dolphins. Her students have been transitioned to other classes. Teachers have made contact with the families and everyone is anxiously waiting to meet, learn, and grow with each other. Go Dolphins!

Wishing everyone a successful second quarter. Please be safe and take care.

Thank you,

Grade 2 teachers
