What is Computer Science?
The study of computers and algorithmic processes, including their principles,
their hardware and software designs, their applications, and their impact on society (CSTA) Computer Science uses computers to make projects called programs. These programs help to solve problems, entertain others, and save time.
Program Description & Objectives
By 2022, all students in K-12 in the Department of Education will be provided with computer science opportunities. Students at KES will be learning computer science concepts. The program is designed for students to apply their algorithmic, critical thinking and problem solving skills through their involvement with various lessons from the code.org curriculum.
